Environmentally friendly non-stick-coating replaces PFAS

PFAS are used as coatings in medical products. Due to known risks, the EU is planning a universal ban on their production and use. With PLASLON® technology, Fraunhofer IFAM has now developed a PFAS-free non-stick coating that can be used immediately.

Rotary solenoids (also bistable)

Rotary solenoids are on-off actuators for defined rotary movements; they are reset via a spring; bistable rotary solenoids can move actively in both directions and are particularly suitable for dynamic applications such as shutters and sorting systems or when heating is critical.

Our hinge solutions: Friction hinges / Detent hinges / Damping hinges / Monitor mounts

The function of friction hinges is familiar from a laptop monitor — you bring it into the desired angular position, and it should stay there; there are variants for mounting or for installation in the axis of rotation. Latching hinges have dedicated holding positions — optionally with a damping.
