Timelines for Transition of Certification from MDD to MDR

As of March 20, 2023, Regulation (EU) 2023/607 was published to smoothen the transition from MDD (and AIMDD) to MDR certification of devices on the market and to assure availability of medical devices on the European market.

Rotary solenoids are on-off actuators for defined rotary movements; they are reset via a spring; bistable rotary solenoids can move actively in both directions and are particularly suitable for dynamic applications such as shutters and sorting systems or when heating is critical.

Linear solenoids: optimal solutions for varied application demands

Solenoids are primarily on-off actuators - depending on the application, optimized versions are available as very robust short-stroke solenoids for short strokes and high forces, or cylindrical solenoids for long strokes with less force or cost-optimized solenoids (also monostable or bistable)
